**Your Responsibilities**
As a **Technical Product Manager - Controller and Sensor Modules** for **John Deere - ISG** located in **Fargo, ND, OR Urbandale, IA OR Waterloo, IA** , you will….
+ Develop lifecycle management strategies and module family specific plans that support needs from initial production through the end of service part support
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand development lifecycles, support new project launch and alignment of project with stakeholder needs
+ Establish and maintain a strong awareness and database of competitive offerings, product strategies, and business climate to shape a best-in-class roadmap
+ Drive the adoption of the lifecycle management strategies with module management, portfolio management and product managers and other enterprise stakeholders
+ Conduct market research to identify industry trends for the applicable modules including Total Addressable Market (TAM) for applicable investment in ISG portfolio
+ Advocate for lifecycle management strategy introduction into the PDP and CI processes

**What Skills You Need**
+ Experience in strategic planning, optimizing a financial cost/benefit function with multiple constraints
+ Experience in building personal networks and relationships across multiple levels of a large organization
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills to properly articulate product vision, requirements and TAM (total addressable market) to stakeholders.
+ Market understanding including knowledge of market trends, customer needs and the competitive landscape necessary to inform product roadmaps.
+ Listening skills and Group facilitation
+ Effective negotiation and creating buy-in: Influence without authority
**What Makes You Stand Out**
+ Experience in influencing without authority and leading cross-functional teams
+ Ability to communicate and motivate up, down and across the organization to a diverse range of technical and non-technical team members
+ Experience in optimizes the lifecycle cost throughout the full life cycle of a product
+ Proficiency in product development lifecycles including experience developing comprehensive product line roadmaps
+ Proficiency in data analysis, metrics tracking and utilizing insights to make data-driven decisions
+ Proficiency in developing plans to evaluate and assess the emerging technology market space and the technology market space evolution
+ Proficiency in product development lifecycles including experience developing comprehensive product line roadmaps
+ Experience managing multi-year budgets effectively, prioritizing the highest ROI or other significant projects
+ 10 or more years of experience developing or managing electronics product development
**Education**
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
+ MBA
+ Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline.
+ Masters Degree or Equivalent Level
