Kforce has a client that is seeking a Remote Technical Product Owner, Mortgage for a full-time role. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Owner with extensive knowledge in mortgage industry and related systems. Responsibilities include manage the backlog, remove roadblocks, work across Dev, QA, Business analysts and Stakeholders. The Product Owner will take over scrum ceremonies, manage the backlog, and act as the single point of contact for executing and delivering on team commitments. Key Responsibilities: * Scrum Ceremonies: Lead and manage scrum ceremonies, ensuring the team is on track and successful * Accountability: Clearly define and manage accountability within the team, holding members responsible for their tasks * Team Support: Work closely with Business Analysts (BAs), Developers (Dev), and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to support and drive work * Feature Articulation: Define and articulate features to BAs for user story creation * Blocker Removal: Identify and remove blockers to ensure smooth workflow * Business Liaison: Act as the liaison between the business and the development team, understanding and solving business problems * Escalation: Escalate issues to management when necessary * Backlog Management: Manage the product backlog, prioritizing tasks based on business needs * Resident Expert: Be the resident expert on the product/systems involved, providing guidance and expertise
