The Tech Product Owner - Payment Switch position is an important and central position within Circle K Global Tech as he/she is responsible for the end-to-end solution within a specific area. This includes both the operational quality and the financial aspects. The Tech Product Owner is expected to secure optimal, stable and efficient operations while at the same time keeping the operational budget and contribute to cost optimization.
Main areas of responsibility:Overall coordination of outsourced solution that handles the critical payment solutions/services (authorization, processing,
maintenance, operation) with large complexity and high business impact.
Position requires some experience and knowledge within the Retail Payment area of responsibility, as well as
strong coordination, communication and analytical skills.
Main tasks:Fully responsible for business critical systems/services with large complexity and high business impact
Act as SPOC for European Payment switch to lead Operations and co-ordinate minor development initiatives
Preparation for new system Releases, Release Acceptance tests coordination and Release deployment
Ensure good governance of own area and clear interfaces towards other parts of the Circle K Global Tech organization
Developing and implementing proactive end to end monitoring routines
Actively following up and challenging supplier/s who are not delivering according to contract and quality expectations
Cooperating closely with relevant business stakeholders regarding service level and expectations. Measuring and working towards customer satisfaction for internal or external customer. This includes ensuring services are available and delivered according agreed to service level and KPIs
Developing and maintaining business contingency plans for the system where relevant
The candidate profile:To be effective in this position, you shall have experience working in a technical team and be comfortable with close cooperation with both internal representatives and suppliers as this are outsourced solution with integration to our
internal IT systems and other external solutions. This role also requires a good understanding of the business processes. The candidate we look for is fact-based, structured and cooperative, with a good understanding of
operational efficiency and cost drivers.
Main requirements:Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or Business Administration
Good business understanding and commercial awareness
Awareness and understanding regarding PCI DSS, IFSF standards, ISO 8533, GDPR
Hands on experience with software development lifecycle with requirements capture and testing for validation and verification
Experience for vendor management for outsourced SAAS technology service
Project management experience
Experience in establishing and following up on KPI’s for IT services (SLA)
Experience in ITIL and ITSM
Have strong interpersonal, communication and planning skills, along with critical thinking and good decision-making abilities
Good English language skills are required for this position.
Some travel must be expected.
