A Technical Product Owner works together with a project team to deliver all the infrastructure and its supporting elements in a timely and efficient manner to ensure the best project outcomes. TPOs' work closely with Architects and customers to identify the low-level details needed to facilitate the implementation, and work together with Domain Authorities across the many infrastructure teams (Middleware, DBAs, SAs, Network, Load Balancing, Storage, Access Management, etc.) to ensure the successful builds. Familiarity with all the infrastructure types listed above, and how they all interact with each other, is required. Good interpersonal and technical skills are required, as is the desire and ability to constantly learn new things.

The Role: Individual Contributor External Facing Role

Role and Responsibilities: Should be well versed in writing stories in JIRA, handling refinement/backlog grooming sessions, effective in planning/driving PIs and developing the team capacity & backlogs. Should be Capable of having a vision, track and handle road maps. Should have phenomenal communication skills and capable of effective collaborator management (Business, product, tech teams or any) Should be able to quickly learn/understand system architecture and relate upstream/downstream of the application/process allocation. Should be able to understand technologies and well versed in Java services/API based platforms. Expert Product owner with at least 5-8 years, with solution building or past development experience in technologies like Java/APIs. Preferred, if has past project experience in healthcare and/or PBM domains, especially claims and/or specialty. Preferred if a certified CSPO or POPM or ACSPO Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position will depend on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
