Technical Professionals - COSMOS Job Category: Project and Program Management Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: None Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * **The Opportunity:** CACI, Inc. is accepting applications for Technical Professional personnel to support the upcoming Contract for Organizing Spaceflight Mission Operations and Systems (COSMOS) program. COSMOS specifies technical, managerial, and administrative work needed to ensure the availability, integrity, reliability, and security of the Flight Operations Directorate’s (FOD) Mission Systems supporting National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) space flight programs requiring mission operations support. For this contract, “Mission Systems” is defined as the systems and subsystems of integrated hardware, software, networks, telecommunications, data, displays, and mockups used in the preparation for and performance of mission operations. _*Positions are contingent upon contract award._ **Responsibilities:** + The COSMOS Technical Professional team provides solutions for a wide variety of complex issues. + Delivers independent solutions for issues. + Defines and follows established processes and procedures and are instrumental in identifying and implementing improvements as necessary. + Works under very limited supervision and routinely exercises latitude. These positions may also assist in the supervision of less senior individuals + Heavily contributes to the completion of milestones associated with large projects and programmatic objectives. + Typical duties include, but are not limited to: Logistics Management, Technical Writing/Editing, Training Design/Development, Training Instructions/Facilitation, Facility Scheduling and Management, Production Control and Resource Management, Configuration and Data Management, Facility Safety, etc. **Qualifications:** _Required:_ + Must be a US Citizen + Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education + professional level experience in Math, Science, Business, or Accounting + Must have anywhere from 6 months -10 years of related work experience (Level I requires the least amount of experience, Level II requires at least 5 years of relevant experience, and Level III requires 10 years) _Desired:_ + Prior experience supporting NASA programs + Experience leading large and complex projects or programs + College degree + Technically competent + Self-motivated + Attention to detail + Ability to work independently + Effective, professional interpersonal skills + Strong team player This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available.
