Description

US Retail Markets (USRM) Tech, Global Technology Enablement is hiring a Technical Program Manager to provide full-scale program management, technical expertise, and ongoing consulting to senior leaders and stakeholders across multiple business units. This position is pivotal in supporting and leading cross-domain, strategic enterprise modernization initiatives. The Technical Program Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, integration, optimization, and adoption of advanced technology solutions. This role is critical to ensuring the successful modernization of our technological ecosystems, aligning with our strategic goals, and delivering significant value to the organization.

 

Develop and Execute a Modernization Strategy & Roadmap: Assess the current landscape, identify areas for improvement, and develop a comprehensive strategy and roadmap to support system modernization.

Project Planning and Execution: Create project plans, define timelines and dependencies, monitor progress, and ensure the successful execution of enterprise modernization projects.

Collaborate with Stakeholders: Engage with key stakeholders across departments to understand their requirements, align modernization initiatives with business goals, manage expectations, and drive stakeholder alignment and adoption of key initiatives.

Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure successful modernization, including awareness programs, communication plans, and partner engagement initiatives.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks associated with modernization efforts and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on the business.

 

To effectively fulfill the role of Technical Program Manager for modernization initiatives, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and experience:

 

Proven Track Record: Successfully managed complex technology modernization initiatives within large organizations.Technical Expertise: In-depth understanding of legacy systems and modern cloud-based technologies.Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Change Management: Experience in change management methodologies and techniques to ensure smooth technology adoption and organizational transformation.Project Management: Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects, allocate resources effectively, and manage project budgets.Communication and Influence: Exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating complex objectives persuasively and building strong relationships across all levels of the organization. Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s Degree in technical or business discipline.Minimum 10+ years of client facing Program / Project Management or implementation consulting experience including delivering software solutions in an agile environment.In-depth knowledge of IT concepts, strategies and methodologies and their application to business opportunities. In-depth knowledge of business operations, objectives, and strategies. In-depth knowledge of agile methodology, and ability to mobilize multiple agile delivery teams across multiple domains towards a single mission. Ability to promote a team environment consisting of several teams. Expert knowledge of technology and industry trends. Able to lead technical decisions and problem solving using technical expertise. Highly developed negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills demonstrated through effective interactions with cross-functional stakeholders.Primarily leads and executes on regular executive communications with cross functional group of Business Owners, Product Leaders, and Engineering Directors to define program objectives, track progress, and manage dependencies effectively.Highly developed interpersonal skills to drive and influence major transformational program outcomes.
