This role demands a comprehensive understanding of MEP systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire life safety, and general building systems. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency in implementing and managing quality assurance programs, integrating new projects with existing operations, and maintaining centralized document repositories. They must excel in conducting audits, ensuring compliance with operational standards, and facilitating continuous improvement in facility management practices. A key aspect of this position involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, particularly in areas such as risk assessment, environmental management, and emergency response. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical writing skills for documenting CMMS procedures and other operational processes. They should be adept at using Microsoft Office Suite programs and have the ability to think innovatively to improve existing processes. Safety consciousness is paramount, as the role requires active participation in client behavior-based safety programs and ensuring compliance with operational integrity management systems. Excellent communication and team building skills are essential for effectively collaborating with various teams, providing training, and mentoring facility staff on compliance and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Support facility operations teams in implementing and managing quality assurance programs.Assist in the integration of new projects with existing facility operations.Maintain centralized document repositories for easy access to current facility data.Collaborate with various teams to integrate quality management into facility systems.Provide training and mentorship to facility staff on compliance and best practices.Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory compliance.Conduct audits and reviews to ensure compliance with operational standards.Maintain up-to-date and accessible documentation for all facility-related information.Improve communication and collaboration between project teams and facility operations staff.Provide expert support and facilitate continuous improvement in facility management practices.Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of process documentation for Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) procedures.Participation in client behavior-based safety program.Ensure compliance with account-level, service-level KPI’s, and contract compliance.Ensure compliance with client operational integrity management system including but not limited to:Assessing, Mitigating, and Accepting RiskInformation and DocumentationOperations and MaintenancePermits and RegulationsEnvironmental ManagementManagement of ChangeCommunity Awareness & Emergency ResponseDevelop and maintain knowledge of site MEP systems including but not limited to:Mechanical systemsElectrical SystemsPlumbing systemsFire Life Safety SystemsGeneral Building SystemsKnowledge, Skills & Abilities
Education/Training/Experience4-year degree in science or technical discipline and 2+ years relevant experience preferred, or 8-10 years relevant experience in senior facility management, quality assurance, operations, or technical background.Skills and knowledgeCapacity to think broadly about how to improve existing processes by applying new ideas.Ability to develop strategies resulting from emerging audit corrective action trends / findings.Background composing technical documentation.Work independently and within a team.Communicate effectively with technical, quality assurance and other personnel. Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneNote and other Microsoft Office Suite programs.Location:
