Technical Program Manager II (Contractor)
Description We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of key features and complex projects that span the entire project lifecycle—from inception to deployment. You'll facilitate the agile Scrum process, ensure projects meet milestone deadlines, manage risks, and spearhead collaboration across multiple teams to deliver high-quality results. This is an in-office position requiring regular and punctual attendance, with occasional night and weekend availability. Key Responsibilities: + Manage and execute projects using agile principles, ensuring on-time delivery of high-priority features and functionality. + Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and processes to drive team productivity. + Develop and track end-to-end project plans in collaboration with lead engineers and product owners, ensuring tasks and milestones are clearly outlined. + Coordinate and manage go-to-market and testing activities. + Monitor project compliance by collaborating with vendors and internal departments to meet project standards. + Lead bug triage sessions and track issue resolution progress. + Act as the liaison between internal teams and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication for project success. + Identify and analyze risks throughout project stages, escalating issues to management as necessary and implementing mitigation/contingency plans. + Generate and track change requests, evaluating their impact on project timelines. + Maintain project status reports and communicate updates on milestones, risks, and escalations to leadership. + Work collaboratively with other project managers to manage inter-project dependencies and streamline workflows. Requirements Ideal Experience: + SCRUM Master Certification and/or Agile Certification. + Extensive experience managing technical OTT/FAST/Content/Entertainment projects. + Prior exposure to app development and engineering/architecture workflows. + Strong technical acumen and ability to contribute in a critical environment. Core Qualifications: + Advanced knowledge of project lifecycle management. + Ability to track tasks and milestones accurately across various teams. + Experience facilitating bug triage, testing, and release planning. + Strong communication, reporting, and organizational skills. + Understanding of project budgeting and resource management. + Proficiency in mitigating risk areas and managing critical dependencies between projects.
