Technical Program Manager III, Devices, Books & AGI Legal

As a Technical Project Manager (TPM) for the Devices, Books & AGI (DBA) legal team, you’ll have the opportunity to play a key role in defining and delivering solutions used by legal team members and business partners worldwide. In this role, you will drive the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for the DBA legal team, working closely with your customers, other business and technology partners, and service providers to define customer requirements and prioritize and deliver solutions. You will partner closely with software engineers to plan and execute product releases from start to finish. You will define relevant service levels, adoption criteria, and success metrics. You will own relationships and dependencies with third-party solution providers. You will help write user stories, plan sprints, and ensure that customer requirements are met. You will also own periodic roadmap reviews with relevant stakeholders. This role allows for a high degree of ownership of the solutions you support and the ability to make a positive impact every day. Key job responsibilities • Builds internal customer and stakeholder relationships to manage expectations and agree on clear goals, objectives, and timelines. • Builds and tracks technical road-map for product features, architecture changes, and third-party features and functions • Provides frequent meaningful updates to stakeholders and management • Identifies risks and external dependencies, and acts on them to ensure the team and project are not derailed. • Be the point of contact for all integrations between the solution and third-party services • Dives deep to learn new technologies and understand how they are best applied to solutions • Works with software development teams to define and deliver on goals Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience - 6+ years of software development experience - Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules - Experience using Agile/Scrum methodology - Excellent analytical, quantitative, written and presentation skills. - Experience with detailed project planning, reporting, and measurement. - Experience working in a highly technical, metrics driven, environment. - Strong multi-tasking and influencing skills - Strong bias for action and "get it done" attitude Preferred Qualifications - 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience - Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules - Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership - MBA in computer science or related technical discipline - Experience as a SCRUM master or certified agile coach - Experience with contract life-cycle management - Experience working with Legal organizations - Experience with the full software development life-cycle Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
