Technical Programme Manager

We are seeking a talented individual to join our IT Project Management team at Marsh Ireland. This role will be based in Dublin.

This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As Technical Programme Manager, you will help manage delivery of a key, strategic multi-year technology transformation programme for our Global digital insurance platform, Bluestream.

Working most closely with our Engineering Manager, you will help improve & shape our Global client facing solution, for Marsh Affinity and Commercial businesses.

You will have experience working independently and autonomously, with the ability to deal with ambiguity, to deliver through our software engineering teams, external vendors and colleagues.

We will count on you to:

Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, risks and timing for new initiatives.Establish and maintain programme plans to support communication to senior management.Facilitate the definition of programme scope, goals and deliverables.Provide leadership to the distributed programme teams responsible for the Bluestream Platform, including providing direction and guidance to multiple scrum teams and more junior team members.Coordinate and prioritise programme tasks to ensure key milestones are achieved. Coordinates development, architecture, testing and offshore teams throughout the project life cycle.Manage timelines to meet business requirements and guarantee operational and business readiness.Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached.Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives

What you need to have: 

Experience as a Product, Project or Programme Manager within large-scale transformation, business technology, digital delivery transformation,Budget management experience of significant valueSignificant responsibility for setting and delivery technical strategySound communication & stakeholder management skills at a senior, ideally C-Suite level
