ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Technical Project Manager** to join our team in **Ashburn, VA and Sterling, VA.** This is currently a hybrid position with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote with the potential to change to 5 days onsite.
The strongest applicants will offer multiple years of experience in highly dynamic, threat/risk driven operating environments. They will also have a proven track record of delivering production ready decision support tools and applications employed in the field and by mission-support entities. Further, highly competitive applicants will have a demonstrated capacity to: work closely and collaboratively with mission stakeholders; respond to emergent, mission-driven changes in priorities and expected outcomes; and, apply new and emerging tools and techniques.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**
+ The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day lifecycle activities for the development of analytics based technology solutions.
+ Lead the development of end-user focused, data & intel driven analytic applications to support CBP threat analysis and targeting concepts.
+ Manage the delivery of multiple projects and functional resources within an Agile based methodology to enhance the advanced analytic capabilities utilized by different stakeholder groups within CBP.
+ Work directly with government users and stakeholders to identify, define and prioritize operational requirements. Interpret and translate the captured technical and functional requirements into technical documentation that can be used by both the project management team and the development teams
+ Support the identification, assessment, and documentation of emerging technologies and technical innovations to contribute to the development and maintenance of the organization’s technology and innovation roadmap
+ Document project risks and mitigation plans and communicate to the stakeholders
+ Provide technical project management and leadership of mission projects as requested and required by the CBP customer
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Strong practical understanding of relational databases used to support analytic development, functionality and application development.
+ Working knowledge of SELC and associated documentation (project plans, charters, business cases, requirements documents, test plans, reports, etc.)
+ Demonstrated Technical PM and/or Data Scientist experience. This candidate will oversee and manage development cycles. This will also require coordinating & writing technical documents related to analytic based projects.
+ Experience with engineering/DevOps lifecycle management tools including Atlassian Jira and Confluence, as well as SCCS tools such as GitLab
+ Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Visio Professional and Project Professional.
+ Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills with demonstrated experience delivering oral & written presentations to customers.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience using or familiarity with machine learning tools, such as DataRobot, Dataiku, H2O, AWS Sagemaker, SAS, Python, scikit-learn etc.
+ Hands on experience with one or more relational database systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, Postgres)
+ Experience with Big Data Analytics (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, NiFi, Sqoop, Avro) a plus
**Clearance Requirements:**
+ Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Suitability prior to starting this position.
+ Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a TS.
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
+ Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
