Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Technical Project Manager 4 to support the IT program at a major national laboratory. This is onsite and for two years with possible extension.
Responsibilities Manages and ensures the timely completion of discrete technical or operational project tasksAdheres to technical requirements for the projectDefines project deliverables, budgets, schedules, and risksOversees the project team in the planning, tracking, and execution of the project from initiation to completion. Projects are a set of related activities needed to produce specific products or services to meet customer’s requirements. Projects develop work packages that define what will be accomplished to meet specific programmatic needs and produce the work products defined by the work packages. Assumes responsibility for day-to-day administrative/operational management of activities and functions in a designated program area within a line or staff department, including contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of program policies, procedures and standardsDetermines program service levels and enhancementsAssists with the development of and monitoring program budgetsProvides technical advice to staff, other departments, and performs related work as required. Qualifications BA/BS and a minimum of 12 years of experience. In lieu of a degree, additional relevant experience may be applicable. U.S. citizenship is required per contract to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy Q clearance. Prefer prior DOE experience supporting construction projects and using EVMS programs. Must have prior DOE experience supporting EVMS programs, 413.3B projects and/or experience with NQA-1 processes, fabrication, and construction. Experience with quality control, assurance and managing complex issues under NQA-1 is also preferredAbout Us:
