ManTech is seeking a Technical Project Manager in Herndon, VA. As a Technical Project Manager you will be part of a high-performing software development team supporting the planning and execution of full life-cycle solutions. You'll work with internal and external program stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization to achieve project objectives. As the Product Owner, you will provide project management for a small development team supporting an enterprise application. The ideal candidate will be flexible and hands-on, demonstrating a willingness to fill project team needs as required to achieve customer mission.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Project Management: Identify project needs and required tasks, organize project activities project activities for a prominent enterprise application and manage project tasks and objectives to meet the customer mission.

Systems Engineering: maintain responsibility for gathering system requirements from diverse groups of stakeholders, effectively communicating requirements to developers, and working with developers to deliver solutions. Manage the capture of requirements, documentation, organization, tasks, timelines, and deliverables. Manage all project documentation to include meeting minutes, risk assessments, and standards for quality, repeatability, and consistency.

Develop and maintain positive relationships with mission partners.

Identify, coordinate, and manage an ever-expanding and evolving set of needs with different stakeholders, groups, and offices to ensure goals and timelines can be met.

Coordinate, schedule, and attend meetings as directed by the customer or fellow Team Leads.

Communicate with customer and internal leadership to keep them aware of statuses related to creation, coordination, and approval of project phases.

Prepare briefings and present summaries about status at review board meetings.

Facilitate technical exchange meetings for stakeholders, as needed.

Engage with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure requirements are effectively defined and assessed.

Conduct programmatic analysis and provide strategic recommendations for activities or projects throughout the project lifecycle.

Analysis and monitoring of performance metrics of approved projects.

Basic Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Project Management or Project Integration.

5+ years of experience with IT project management

Experience with Project Management and Change Management tools such as Jira or ServiceNow

Experience with the Agile development process and serving as a Scrum Master

Experience providing systems engineering or project management for a matrixed team

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar technical field or High School Diploma plus 6 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree accepted

Preferred Qualifications:

5+ years supporting customers and programs in the IC Community

5+ years of experience in a technical lead position

PMP or ITIL certification

Clearance Requirements: Active/current TS/SCI w/ Polygraph

Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
