Technical Project Manager
Description We are in search of a Technical Project Manager to join our team located in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the timeline, budget, and scope of various projects to ensure they adhere to proposed plans. You will be an integral part of our team, planning projects in detail, setting schedules for stakeholders, and executing each step of the project. Responsibilities: • Manage and execute each step of various technical projects • Develop detailed project plans and set schedules for all stakeholders • Create and implement management and communication plans and processes • Analyze and develop procedures for managing technical duties • Define project responsibilities with stakeholders • Participate in decisions on budget and staff allocation for the project • Maintain project time frames, budget estimates, and status reports • Coordinate with team members, vendors, and management using strong communication skills • Utilize analytical, computer, math, and problem-solving skills to manage software usage and explain software to others • Keep projects on track using organizational and time management skills • Manage project risks and resources effectively • Use JIRA to allow users to create, share, and update projects, programs, and processes with various views, workflows, reports, and dashboards • Adapt to different business needs and requirements, from small tasks to large-scale initiatives • Manage application development projects and workflow processes • Gain experience in software development life cycle (SDLC) • Gain experience in managing project budgets. Requirements • The applicant must have a minimum of three years of experience as a Technical Project Manager or in a similar role. • Proficiency in using JIRA or similar project management software is required. • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and guide teams to achieve project objectives. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for liaising with clients and team members. • Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address project-related issues. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. • Familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices. • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. • Experience in the IT industry would be advantageous. • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. • Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions based on data and statistics. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently. • Strong organizational and time-management skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint. • Must have the ability to handle confidential information responsibly. • Experience in budgeting and resource allocation procedures. • Must demonstrate a strong understanding of technical aspects of project management, including software development and web technologies. • PMP or equivalent certification is preferred. • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies would be an advantage.
