MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in project coordination, including or supplemented by project planning and implementation experience
Excellent communication and writing skills
Must have technical background
Experience with ETL and data automation tools
Experience with data analysis and data mapping
Experience designing, developing, integrating, and implementing data integration and information exchange protocols
Strong working knowledge of the following tools: Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
Ability to create management presentations and status reports
Ability to be an effective team player
Strong sense of ethics and professionalism
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Project Management (PMP), Six Sigma, or Technical (ITIL, etc.) Certifications
Prior government project experience (NYC strongly preferred)
Has a passion for open data or open government and civic engagement
Demonstrates leadership and motivation
