Introduction to the job:
The Operational Excellence Project Manager position drives strategic transformation and continuous improvement within the San Diego Factory building upon standards and best known methods within ASML. This involves the definition and deployment of the San Diego Factory multi-year vision and strategy and managing the Project Portfolio of breakthrough initiatives to reach these strategic objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities:
As part of the San Diego Factory team, this person leads the change management activities that establish and maintain a culture of continuous improvement. The role oversees Lean initiatives, the strategic project portfolio (breakthrough initiatives) and adoptions of corporate initiatives within the San Diego factory. This is a leadership role will lead a team of ~10-30 employees (managers and individual contributors).
Business process adoption and sustainingImplementation and business adoption of new processes. Embedding new ways of working throughout San Diego Factory. Align to Global Manufacturing initiatives.Support Operations with Means & Methods and process documentation.Facilitate the feedback loop and lessons learned.Play a key role in the development and management of the financial plan (long and short term) for the San Diego factory. This includes labor hour and cycle time reduction programs and other cost reduction initiatives.Support the role of Functional Domain Owner to coordinate initiative to assure information security and Network segmentationProject ManagementDefine and manage the San Diego Factory breakthrough project portfolioSupport the rest of the organization with Project Management tools and problem solving methodologyBusiness improvement strategy and deploymentLead and facilitate the Hoshin Kanri strategy alignment sessions and SF vision.Together with the SF Lean deployment lead, develop and drive the LEAN roadmap.Work with Business Analytics to evaluate information and drive improvement projects.Maturity assessment and embedding of Lean programs and practices to achieve sustainable business impact.Education and Experience:
Master’s Degree and 5 years of experience or Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of relevant experienceMinimum of five (5 ) years of experience in international business, operational excellence, transformation, LEANSeasoned senior operational leader, program managerProven change management skillsPreferably familiar with LEAN concepts and programsExperience deploying Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systemsExperience with decision making processes at senior stakeholder level in complex organizationsExpertise in operations processes in a Technology / Manufacturing environmentSkills

$106,500-177,500Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
