Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join one of our Asset Management/Private Equity clients for a one year contract with likely extensions. It is required that this person work onsite to El Segundo, CA 3-4 days per week. This person will be joining the team that falls within the Investment Engineering Space. This groups supports applications, projects and products that are used by the Portfolio Managers and Traders. In this role you will work on multiple projects at a variety of size of scope. Projects could include creating modern solutions for traders and quant groups as they scale, leveraging file drops and APIs and overall improvement from an automation perspective. You will be responsible for looking at what current processes are for projects, and trying to determine how to make those processes better whether that be from automation etc. Standard project management responsibilities include status updates, budget tracking, project plans and utilizing Jira. It will also be expected to own projects from approval phase through execution. If a new project idea is formed, it will be this persons responsibility to run the project by gathering information, understanding scope and presenting to stakeholders and executives for backing and approval.

Skills and Requirements
5+ years experience with Project Management
Experience working in an agile/scrum environment
Experience working in financial industry - general understanding on features of specific products, investment management, capital markets, fixed income, treasury
Experience running with a project from approval phase through completion Certs such as PMP, PMI, CSM null
