Position Overview:

Reporting to the Project Management & Innovation Process Manager, the Technical Publications Project Coordinator is responsible for managing and delivering technical publications for our global product line. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, third-party suppliers, and global content writers and illustrators to ensure timely and high-quality documentation for the global product line.

This position is part of the Innovation and Technology department located in London, Ontario and will be onsite role.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

Manage and deliver on project assignments related to technical publications.Obtain, define, and interpret information, collaborating with cross-functional, global product development teams and customer feedback to assist in the development of end-user documentation packages.Prepare documentation for final production (print, online, and translation management) and ensure final delivery PDF files meet quality standards and storage requirements.Support the development and maintenance of systems and procedures for data management across the department and external websites.Contribute to process improvement activities to drive efficiency within the Innovation and Technology team.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Post-secondary education in Engineering, Technology, or related field with 3 to 5 years of related experience.Strong project management skills.Attention to detail: Efficient, accurate, and thoughtful.Ability to work collaboratively with technical and cross-functional teams.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.Self-management skills with the ability to make decisions and seek guidance when necessary.A demonstrated ability to value and support diversity in the workplace.Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word) and Microsoft SharePoint 365.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign.
