What does the role look like?
Join the Aftermarket Engineering team, liaising with the other engineering functions to manage all the technical documentation relevant to maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems products. Collect any technical and operational documentation in order to issue, update and manage all the maintenance technical data which Engineering is responsible for. Deal with technical aspects to timely response to customer queries, prepare and review technical reports and review relevant technical documentation.
What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?
Operate in a team environment with other functional areas, providing instructions to operations and to the customer regarding Technical Maintenance Documentation.Coordinate the activities relevant to the Technical Maintenance Documentation, liaising within Engineering teams, with Operations and any other department, being the technical interface to Operations and all other departments and the point of contact to the customer.Drive all the technical activities regarding the preparation, maintenance, update, issue and release of the Technical Maintenance Documentation used by Engineering, Operations and customer in accordance with internal procedures, configuration management, manuals and standards.Prepare and check first release of Technical Maintenance Documentation, update and revise existing Technical Maintenance Documentation.Manage the schedule of the Technical Maintenance Documentation issue, liaising with all the functional areas and dealing with customer, being responsible for the on-time-delivery of the documentation.Follow all set of quality standards and engineering principles and best practices, direct instructions for manuals, assembly instructions, testing and troubleshooting.Attend and lead meetings and teleconferences with other departments and with customers.What will you bring to the role?
Desirable skills:
Master’s degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering3 to 5 years of experience preferably in an aerospace maintenance environmentGood understanding of Aerospace product development processesKnowledge of the basic principles of the Technical Publications (format, structure, standards)Knowledge of the airworthiness regulations in civil and military aerospace (EASA, EMAR)Basic knowledge of SAP and Project Scheduling ToolsGood use of Microsoft Office Package and Good or advanced use of Adobe FrameMakerAdvanced English levelGood written and verbal communication skills at all levelsWhat do we offer?
