You will be the F-35 Anomaly & Failure Resolution (AFRS) and Time Compliance Technical Directive (TCTD) Manager - Level 5 reporting to the Senior Manager of F-35 Joint-Service Technical Data (JTD).

What You Will Be Doing

As the F-35 Anomaly & Failure Resolution (AFRS) and Time Compliance Technical Directive (TCTD) Manager - Level 5, you will manage a team with disparate skills and tasks. Duties include oversight of the F-35 Joint-Service Technical Data (JTD) team members responsible for a variety of disciplines required to produce and deliver F-35 Technical Publications. You will build, grow, and maintain a strong JTD authoring and scheduling team. Provide personnel assignments, growth opportunities, and productive job experiences. Manage budgets and schedules for estimating, producing, updating, publishing, delivering, and providing quality F-35 AFRS and TCTD data on time and within budget. Provide direction when necessary for problem resolution in AFRS development, and TCTD development. Requires a working knowledge of the F-35 Change Process along with a basic understanding of the contract and proposal estimating sphere.

With such a diverse group, skill in dealing with different personalities and behaviors is paramount to maintaining a cohesive workforce given the experience levels of the team members. You must have an ability to interact with team members and the Joint Program Office customer based on a rapport that promotes trust and transparency.

Basic Qualifications:
• Holds Final DoD Secret clearance prior to start, with ability to gain Access Controlled Area (ACA) clearance

• Experience with Technical Order Development systems and goals

• Experience providing estimates, proposals, and/or budgets

• Experience with Aviation Maintenance/Operations

• Demonstrated experience in formally leading diverse teams or informally leading project team while resolving customer issues
Desired Skills:
• Ability to understand the internal and external customer requirements.

• Ability to effectively represent Sustainment Engineering within the Sustainment Operations organization, including to the Line of Business Integrators.

• Ability to organize and motivate a diverse set of individuals as “team player’ to act as "one" in the pursuit of common objectives.

• Demonstrated development of Independent and Self-Motivated teams

• Experience with and/or supporting agile methodology and execution of work

• Experience with Earned Value and proposal development

• Proven experience as a strategic thinker with the ability to translate into action and results.

• Experience supporting a government customer and wide variety of customers

• Demonstrated business acumen and understanding of connectivity and support of Sustainment to the overall success of the business.

• Adept at working within matrix organizations for successful execution.

• Excellent communication and relationship skills, both verbal and written, with the proven ability to communicate to all levels internally and externally.

• Demonstrated ability to negotiate solutions that produce a positive outcome with a variety of internal and external stakeholders

• Operational Excellence (OpEx) experience or Green/Black Belt training or certification

• Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
