We’ve got what you’re looking for. **Job Description:** Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Quality Coordinator** to join our team! The Technical Quality Coordinator is responsible for performing daily QA responsibilities such as tracking all issued Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) follow up, Corrective Action implementation and follow up, to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with the established minimum standards. The role is primarily office- based, performing all data control of documentation related to the Technical Quality Manual, non-conformances, technical submissions by contractors, etc. **What You'll Be Doing:** + Track, monitor and ensure all Non-Conformances and Corrective Actions are implemented and closed out in a timely manner. + Communicate all Corrective Actions to relevant parties. + Support external ISO 9001 registration and assessment audit programs + Perform all follow up and documentation requests as required + Become the go-to person for all project related documentation. + Ensure understanding of the code and specification requirements applicable to the specific scope of work. + Review the material receiving process to ensure all received materials are in conformance with the approved submittal, stored and handled appropriately. + May attend pre-bid meetings and coordinate project requirements + Follow up status of issued non-conformance reports. + Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system. + Recommend and implement improvements when required. **What Required Skills You'll Bring:** + Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field and typically 0+ yrs of Quality related work experience + Good knowledge and experience in the implementation of problem-solving methodology and performance of root cause analysis (i.e. Six Sigma) + Good knowledge and experience in ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System. + Knowledge of Canadian Building Codes, CSA and ASTM codes. + Experience interpreting codes and specifications. + Thorough knowledge of general construction methods and construction codes. + Understands how to research and locate manufacturer's product data and installation guidelines. + Knowledge of building envelope construction and materials. + Understands the requirements of fire-rated construction requirements. + Understands the requirements of fire-rated construction requirements. + Proficiency in MS Office and quality management systems. + Ability to negotiate the terrain of an in-process construction site, including climbing stairs and ladders, steep/ slippery terrain, walking, and working outdoors in all types of Edmonton weather and conditions **Minimum Clearance Required to Start:** Not Applicable/None This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.
