Your mission
In this position, you’re a crucial player in our global R&D work for Ground Support. You take ownership in developing material and forums to ensure that we have sufficient understanding of the current and future product offerings – commercial and technical. Day-to-day support on different technical topics is part of your job. Together with relevant stakeholders across the regional organization you develop new concepts, elaborate, coordinate and manage the EMEA engineering and R&D roadmap.
You’re an active member of the Ground Support Divisional technical team, ensuring that EMEA is aligned and supportive of the global strategy and its implementation. In this role you will be expected to travel circa twice a month. The location for this position is flexible.
About you
We’re looking for someone with a master’s degree in engineering or a related field. You have very good understanding of underground mining and tunneling technologies through previous experience in the industry. We believe that you have exposure to different types of rock mechanics and ground support products and hold an existing professional network in the mining and tunneling industry. Your previous assignment has given you a deep understanding of basic supplier-customer relationships as well as sales and marketing and business administration. Proven experience working in matrix structures is a must. Acting in a global environment calls for excellent skills in English, verbally and in writing.
We’re fascinated by your personality, characterized by your analytical and critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. With your good and humble leadership skills, you easily listen, lead and influence people around you. By communicating in a trusting and confident way, you can build and maintain trusted relationships and a strong network with both external and internal stakeholders.
