About the role
As a Recruiter on our team, you’ll use your well-honed recruiting skills to find qualified candidates, cultivate amazing candidate experiences, and guide managers and interview teams in their quest to hire the best person for each open position for any team in the Devices, Product and Technology team…from Software Engineers to Lifecycle Marketers, and many things in between. Additionally, you’ll use your strong project management skills to organize complex hiring situations and keep things on track, from resume review through new employee onboarding. Please note that this is a hybrid role, requiring you to be in-office during core business hours, several days/week.
What you’ll be doing
Be a trusted talent acquisition advisor for hiring managers, providing subject matter expertise and thought leadership in the area of talent acquisition Thoroughly evaluate candidates, prepare professional write-ups, and present candidates in an accurate and detailed manner Analyze research and understand the requirements to identify qualified talent. Help hiring managers craft compelling job descriptions Use your awesome communication skills to effectively source candidates (cold outreach, applicants and ATS mining) Also use your awesome communication skills for effective communications to all levels of Roku staff. Keep everyone informed on searches in an organized, easy to understand manner Identify areas for improvement with the organization and staffing, partner with those necessary to make the change Strive for enthusiastically satisfied clients on every engagement
We’re excited if you have
Significant experience working both in-house and as an agency recruiter, sourcing for software, engineering, and other technically oriented candidates Extensive experience in sourcing and identifying candidates through social media and other non-traditional methods (e.g., Boolean, Facebook, LinkedIn, Indeed, …TikTok, anyone?) Sound business judgment and common-sense approach to get through obstacles and solve problems encountered during candidate searches Experience balancing the demands of the customer with the defined constraints of the candidate search 5+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience, specifically with bringing on software engineers, developers, network engineers, user experience professionals, product managers, plus the ability and enthusiasm to recruit for non-technical roles Experience with ATS and other recruiting tools (Greenhouse, LinkedIn, TalentWall, browser extensions, etc.) Ability and willingness to recruit for other positions as requested
