Technical Sales Engineer

The Technical Sales Engineer promotes the services of the business by combining their technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills.Duties and Responsibilities:Generate leads and transition to sales prospects.Develop strategies to penetrate emerging markets.Field Requests for Quote, cost for labor and other direct charges to return competitive pricing.Implement capture strategies during pursuit of new business.Interpret customer requirements and negotiate favorable terms and acceptance criteria.Provide technical guidance, support and status updates to customers.Work with Engineering and Design Teams to tailor services to meet customer needs.Participate in market research and attend trade shows and conferences.Prepare forecast and status reports for Leadership Team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of experience in aerospace composites Manufacturing Engineering and Estimation experience.1-3 years of Project Management experience in an aerospace environment.An Engineering Degree is preferred.Demonstrated track record in reducing waste and improving efficiency through use of Lean MFG tools, Six Sigma, 5S, etc.Hands-on experience in lamination of composite components is preferred.CAD (Solidworks, Catia) preferred.

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00
