Technical Sales Engineer
Job Title: Sales Engineer Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to interface directly with customers, evaluate project costs, manage timelines, and oversee project execution. Responsibilities: Sales: + Serve as the primary point of contact for customers. + Service existing accounts and acquire new accounts to support business growth. Estimation: + Evaluate job costs for quoting by reviewing documentation, blueprints, and specifications. + Determine costs for materials, labor, tooling, and outside sourcing, and submit estimates to customers. + Interact with purchasing managers, engineers, and supplier representatives for information and pricing. Project Management: + Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets using project management software. + Coordinate with production control for scheduling and sequencing of manufacturing activities. + Monitor project progress, identify risks or delays, and implement mitigation strategies. Additional: + Utilize quoting software for estimating and quoting purposes. + Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution. + Participate in sales meetings, strategy sessions, and industry events.
