Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible to support the growth of the region from a technical sales perspec-tive will need to be well versed in the value that APM can bring to a customer but have the technical depth to answer detailed questions about how the solutions work. The primary objective is the growth of Digital business within the region with a secondary role of supporting customer success as needed. The work model for this role (onsite) This role is contributing to Process Automation Business Area based in Abu Dhabi UAE.You will be mainly accountable for:•Supporting the growth of our APM business from a solution consulting or technical sales perspective.•Evangelizing our APM solutions both inside and outside our company.•Working across functionally across ABB to implement and expand our Digital strategy.•Serving as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and aspirations, guiding them in the journey to meet and exceed those needs.•Leading discovery workshops with customers to deeply understand their needs, current state, and potential value of solving their challenges.•Deeply understanding the customer’s challenges to be both an internal advocate for the customer as well as an empathetic guide.•Working with and across our value pillars to solve customer problems.•Staying abreast of industry trends and the competitive landscape.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Proven expertise in Asset Performance Management.Deep technical expertise across asset management, machinery health, and how industrial companies view risk.Strong experience in client relationship management and a customer focused perspective.Strong knowledge of industrial software solutions, including. Historians, ERP systems, IoT, and automation.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Proven ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
