JOB DESCRIPTION:

The “Technical Sales Manager” (TSM) will be the key Z lead to drive infield tactical execution of the “greater” Zodiac Aftermarket channel strategy. The TSM key responsibility will be to target and convert service, repair & renovation swimming pool and spa companies within their assigned regions.  The TSM will be the conduit driving aftermarket dealer insights to internal departments for future strategic development. The execution of promotional tactics into the service trade associations, distributor table top programs, & identified key accounts will be the primary responsibility of this position. This position would include moderate travel within the assigned territory that has been identified as high potential growth opportunity. The TSM  reports to the Director of Technical Sales & Marketing.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identify & drive infield conversion of service, repair, and renovation swimming pool companies within assigned region. Technical sales presentations at targeted dealers.Technical sales presentations at local trade association meetings. (IPSSA, UPA, FPSIE)Sales presentations at distributor table top events.Assist sales force converting targeted service accounts.Provide weekly update and status of executions. Provide assistance by communicating VOC insights for the development and execution of Aftermarket SBU programs, products, price positioning & training.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

A person looking for a growth opportunity that is eager and open to learn.5 - 10 years of outside sales experience within a technical capacity or product.Must have experience with technical products and performing technical presentations.Solid technical knowledge of Zodiac & competitive swimming pool equipment and parts from a “service, repair, & renovation” perspective.Understanding of service, repair & renovation company business model and needs.Strong verbal communication skills.Understanding of swimming pool equipment “2-step” distribution model. Ability to travel and work in different markets for short periods of time (2-3 days monthly).Ability to collaborate cross functionally while balancing customer needs with Zodiac corporate goals of revenue & profitability.Ability to operate basic Microsoft office software such as Word & Excel, Google email & scheduling and CRM tools such as Salesforce.com.Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Marketing Department to the Director of Technical Sales & Marketing.
