Role – Technical Sales Manager- Microsoft Sales
Location – Tokyo, Japan
Role Role:
This role is expected to assume overall responsibility for all technical solutions and customer interfaces related to solutions for all infrastructure operations led by Cloud Infrastructure Services. In addition, we work closely with our sales team in each industry to narrow down our target customers, proactively approach them, and work with the IBU CIS Delivery team to propose the best solution for our customers. In this position, you will be required to perform the following roles:
Develop new accounts, build relationships with existing accounts, and maximize salesLeading the technical development of solutions related to Cloud Infrastructure ServicesRespond to infrastructure-related RFIs/RFPs and aggressive initiatives, while developing value-added solutions that differentiate them from other competitorsServe as a leading technical advisor to customers in the field of cloud infrastructure services solutionsIf necessary, we will make presentations, surveys and analyses for customers implementing new infrastructure, and perform migration procedures.Transform business and system needs into technical solutionsAs a subject matter expert (SME), he provides operational and technical instructions and guidance to technical teams pursuing new technologies.When presenting a technical proposal, gather people with the skills required for the projectAssist in the opportunity identification process and risk analysis
Experience:Minimum 12 years of experience in infrastructure management, operations, and technology consulting in any of the following areas: data center technology (including convergence technology and cloud), voice and data networking, or end-user technology. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a cloud and infrastructure sales representative.Experience with public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) is preferred.In addition to extensive infrastructure-related work experience, SME (subject matter specialist) experience in one or more of the following infrastructure areas (e.g., networking, data center design, storage, etc.)Experience as CTO, Director, or higher in the Infrastructure Management/Operations/Infrastructure Engineering area, or leading a delivery team for an infrastructure provider's solutionIn-depth knowledge of infrastructure technologies in various fields, as well as the ability to appropriately understand and express the key principles of various technology optionsFamiliarity with infrastructure-related project management practicesHave a good understanding of the infrastructure/data center outsourcing mechanisms, prospects, key challenges and strategies associated with major technology companies.Gain a detailed understanding of business processes and customer information related to infrastructure, and have customer contacts related to specific domains/technologies.
Required Technical Experience:Expertise in core areas of infrastructure technology (systems administration, operations, database management, network management, data centers, integrated systems)Extensive knowledge and experience in developing outsourcing mechanisms and technical solutions for the implementation of complex infrastructure technologiesExperience in conversations that have a significant impact on the customer's VP Infrastructure, CTO and CIP levels Domain Knowledge:Deep understanding of core infrastructure domains, industry and the latest technology trendsUnderstand the prospects for IT services at a wide range of levelsUnderstand how to leverage delivery and sales talent in an IT environmentExcellent analytical skills
