Technical Sales Representative: Water Treatment - 18915
We’re looking for a Technical Sales Representative in the industrial fluid and water treatment industry based in Calgary and Edmonton.

Our client is known for its innovative and environmentally responsible chemical and mechanical solutions.  They focus on optimizing their customers' system performance and productivity while minimizing environmental impact and health and safety risks. The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for proactively seeking and securing new business, promoting and selling products and services, and ensuring the profitability of the territory.

Technical Sales Representative responsibilities: Proactively seek out and secure new business opportunities to drive company growth. Provide technical services and support to existing customers with the assistance of the technical support group Prospect new customers, acquire new accounts, and develop the territory Execute negotiations and obtain contract signatures Complete requests for information, quotes, and proposals Propose and implement marketing strategies in the territory Manage and coordinate contracts, calls for tenders, and client requests Continuously improve technical knowledge, product knowledge, and application methods Share knowledge with appropriate individuals and departments Apply ISO-9001 standards for customer service, R&D, market research, and relevant sections Update information daily in the CRM & AX systems The successful candidate has: Knowledge of water treatment processes and equipment Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Strong sales skills and experience managing complex sales cycles Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills Superior consultative sales skills with the ability to close deals Commitment to achieving key performance indicators Ability to work independently and effectively in a team Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or Biology or equivalent Availability to travel Valid driver’s license Compensation and benefits: The discussed salary range is $70,000 – $95,000 depending on experience Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered Comprehensive benefits package Only candidates already eligible to work in Canada will be reviewed.
