The District Representative offers specialized chemistry programs and related services for downstream oil and gas operations, aimed at maximizing production, protecting assets, and reducing operating costs and environmental impact. Through on-site problem-solving and innovative technologies, our team delivers solutions that assist energy customers in overcoming complex challenges in the most demanding energy frontiers. Our downstream team utilizes advanced chemistries and technologies to provide Oil & Gas customers with comprehensive and sustainable solutions to safeguard their assets, mitigate risks, and enhance profitability.
Leading Chemical Treatment Programs: Responsible for the chemical treatment programs at the client’s site, ensuring optimal performance and promptly addressing any deviations from the treatment plan.
Analytical Field Testing: Comprehend the principles of field testing procedures and collaborate with service technicians to perform routine field testing
Reporting and Communication: Provide regular chemical treatment program reports to clients, keeping them informed about progress and updates according to the agreed schedule.
Inventory and Equipment Management: Oversee the planning of chemical stock levels in Singapore and manage inventory at client sites. Maintain an equipment maintenance program to ensure 100% equipment uptime and seamless operations.
Monthly Technical Review: Prepare and deliver comprehensive monthly review materials to clients. These reviews serve as a valuable platform for discussing program effectiveness and identifying areas for improvement.
Value-Added Projects: Actively source and develop value-added projects in collaboration with clients. These projects are designed to reduce the Total Cost of Operation (TCO) with Ecolab’s product.
Troubleshooting and Collaboration: When clients encounter challenges related to chemical treatment programs or Ecolab’s products, step in to troubleshoot and collaborate with team members to find solutions.
Proposal Development for New Opportunity: Develop chemical treatment proposals to enhance efficiency and address specific client requirements. Present new chemical treatment proposals to client. Lead the initiation and evaluation of new applications.
Contract Management: Collaborate with application engineers and service technicians to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Business Performance Review: Prepare and present the executive performance results material to the key client stakeholders and the head of the department. This can occur quarterly, half yearly or annually depending on contract obligation.
Client Relationship Management: Building and nurturing strong relationships with clients is paramount. Frequent engagement ensures effective communication and mutual understanding.
Billing and Invoicing Process: Maintain bookkeeping for client accounts under your responsibility. Verify billing amounts and work with the billing team to issue invoices to customers.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree (Chemical Engineering) with at least 8 years of relevant technical sales experience
Should have technical sales or field sales support experience
Must have a valid Class 3/3A Singapore Driver’s License
Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems
Experience with refinery or chemical processing is advantageous
Curious and eagle to find out what customers’ needs and good approach to solutioning
Effective critical thinking and problem solving skills
Customer oriented and always ready to engage with customers
Able to work in a refinery/chemical plant
