**Position Title: Senior Technical Sales Representative (TSR) - Feed**
**Compensation Range: $90,000 - $120,000**

**Location: Midwest - Remote - IL, NE, KS, NE**

**The Opportunity**
The Technical Sales Representative (TSR) Feed will be responsible for driving North America Feed Platform growth by generating sales and awareness of AGI’s feed mill equipment offering, including processing, material handling and storage systems. The main function of the role is to work directly with on-farm and small to medium commercial feed mill operators and progress sales and revenue of the AGI brands. The position will be responsible for building long-term, profitable relationships with feed mills. This role will combine both sales and technical problem solving for feed mill customers in specific regions of the US..
**The Team**
Reporting directly to the Director, Commercial Execution, the TSR will be our infield technical resource, helping clients solve problems.
**Responsibilities**
+ Direct selling of AGI’s Feed portfolio to on-farm and small to medium feed mills.
+ Represent, market, and support the AGI Feed portfolio (mentioned above) and nurture the business relationship with key feed mills.
+ Ensure strong, continued business from established AGI Dealers and seek to identify opportunities within their designated market area feed mills.
+ Establish a detailed call program. Maintain accurate records with respect to prospects, pre-implementation planning/proposal preparation, sales calls, opportunities, quotations, pricing, etc., using CRM system
+ Understand Colony farms and non-commercial feed mill markets to ensure AGI is servicing their needs.
+ Work collaboratively with clients and the feed engineering team where we are assisting and advising customer in adding value to their business profitability and competitiveness by investing in the right AGI solutions.
+ Provide commissioning support and after sales support to ensure client satisfaction.
+ Establish, maintain, and nurture a strong relationship with the AGI Sales Managers (Farm and Commercial) to identify targeted producer opportunities within the corresponding geography. The relationship between the Sales Managers and TSR should be complimentary and synergistic as information, including business plans, are shared.
+ Maintain a technical product background and knowledge of AGI products; as well as corresponding competitive products and offers.
+ Represent AGI at trade shows and farmer-based seminars, meetings, and conventions.
+ Provide support to AGI management by representing the company in their respective market area - providing a strong community presence in business, social and community affairs.
+ Support the AGI management, administrative, engineering, and operational staff as they pursue their specific goals – be a team player.
+ Be responsible for overall sales performance in territory
+ Achieve personal sales targets
**Qualifications**
**Education:** Preference but not required: Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma, preference in Agriculture. Millwright / trades certificate.
**Experience:** Preference given to candidates with 5-10+ years of experience with feed mill technology, operations, and/or maintenance.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**
+ Background in feed manufacturing.
+ Understanding of processing systems and rates of production.
+ Strong business and interpersonal skills.
+ Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving.
+ Knowledge of facility operations and maintenance practices.
+ Understanding of automation systems.
+ Possess a sense of urgency to recognize sales leads and pursue them to completion.
+ Ability to determine and provide technical solutions for customers.
+ Results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
+ Well organized.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Territory management experience.
+ Valid Driver’s License.
**Software Application and Technical Knowledge:**
+ 2D or 3D software
+ Advanced skills with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint
+ Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
