Technical Sales Specialist (Data Security)
As a Technical Sales Specialist (Data Security), you will build a broad network as you collaborate with sales, technical, partner, and consulting peers to educate our customers on the value of our data security solutions. As you interact with, and influence, senior stakeholders, your main goal will be to win the technical decision of customers to purchase Microsoft data security solutions, empowering them to protect, govern, and safeguard their sensitive data while also managing regulatory compliance requirements and maintaining customer and employee privacy. As our customers innovate and embrace the technological shifts happening in this era of AI, they look to us to help them with their data security, governance, and compliance challenges, and you will play a fundamental role in enabling them to achieve this. Your knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape experience and your consultative approach will be essential in conveying the value of our solutions, and driving their adoption. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond. **Responsibilities** In this role, you will be working regularly with a number of internal and external stakeholders, and some of your key responsibilities will include: + Collaborate with sales, technical, and partner teams to drive the adoption of Microsoft data security solutions. + Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) to showcase the value of our solutions. + Engage with customers to understand their business needs and technical requirements, and provide tailored solutions. + Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, regulatory requirements, and Microsoft technologies. + Provide technical guidance and support to customers throughout the sales process. + Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally. + Contribute to the development of best practices, technical documentation, and training materials. **Qualifications** Your success in this role will be achieved by using a mix of your technical knowledge and your ability to influence the sales decision-making process. Some of the key competencies you will be able to demonstrate include: + Technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience + Familiarity with theCybersecuritylandscape andthe tools and technologies in the marketplace + Practical knowledge of Microsoft Governance and Compliance Solutions or similar competitor solutions + Fluency in English and Spanish and an ability to use them both in a business environment + Proven experience with cloud and hybrid, or on-premise infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management. + Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR equivalent professional experience.
