Introduction:

 

We are seeking a Technical Sales Support – Crusher Wears to join our innovative Sales Support team. You will be responsible for providing technical and commercial support to customers, through comprehensive understanding of the products, support soft-wares and application areas. In this position, you will report to Senior Manager, TSS USA Mining.

 

This position is mainly located in Mesa, AZ. There will be up to 50% travel with this role.

We work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including the Crusher Wears product support team, LCS local service team, SSO, manufacturing units, and design departments. Our team members are based in York, PA; Salt Lake City, UT; Mesa, AZ; and Brookfield, WI.

 

What you’ll do:

 

Optimize Performance: Collaborate with product support managers and Tier 2 support to continuously enhance Crusher Wears and consumable products. Field Expertise: Conduct field measurements, develop work scopes, recommend parts, select materials, and apply products effectively. Customer Engagement: Meet with customers to discuss and review optimization plans, ensuring their needs are met. Data-Driven Insights: Create detailed reports and evaluations from wear readings, visualized in CAD drawings. Innovative Solutions: Work with the product line on proposal drawings for liner optimization in CAD. Cost Reduction: Support studies with local service hubs to reduce maintenance costs and recommend modifications or replacements to increase reliability. Continuous Improvement: Follow up on installations and gather information for product improvements and optimization. Benchmarking: Promote benchmarking processes within Metso at various site locations. Market Intelligence: Maintain detailed market intelligence in cooperation with the Sales Area organization. Complex Solutions: Support the Local Proposal department on complex solutions.

 

Who You Are:

Experienced Professional:5-10 years of experience in heavy industry, primarily with mineral processing equipment. Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of crushing/screening processes and applications. CAD Proficiency: Skilled in using CAD for creating detailed drawings and visualizations. Effective Communicator: Good oral and written communication skills, with the ability to solve problems and troubleshoot effectively. Customer-Focused: Experience working in a customer-focused and service-oriented environment. Educational Background: Degree in Mechanical, Mining, Chemical, or Mineral Process Engineering, or equivalent work experience. Organized and Motivated: Comprehensive organizational skills and project management experience, with the ability to work under stress and meet deadlines. Flexible Traveler: Willingness to travel frequently and on short notice.
