As a Technical Security Support Specialist, you will manage security systems ensuring they are properly functioning, and collaborate on system upgrades, ensuring seamless security and compliance. With responsibilities ranging from data analysis to emergency preparedness, you'll be at the forefront of protecting our assets and personnel. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, the ability to multitask under pressure, and experience in security operations. Job Responsibilities:
Provide ingest of all calls and conduct initial triage and/or troubleshooting efforts as needed depending on level, either rectifying the issue or routing it to the appropriate resource. Monitor the health of the video and intrusion systems and escalate service calls to appropriate vendor or internal teams. Conduct configuration of both video and intrusion systems as required. Successful candidates are required to take ownership of incidents and provide proactive solution to management. It is also expected that candidates will analyze reports, discover trends and problems so positive recommendations can be made. Validating preventative maintenance and service completion. Service call creations for all system needs.. Ensure all SOP’s are followed correctly and any changes are implemented efficiently. Work closely with the security project managers and configuration team on implementing new projects or upgrades to security systems. Provide guidance and expert knowledge to new starters within the AMC Support team. Timely conduction of weekly/monthly tasks/audits
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
Able to be cleared for customer specific clearance requirements through bank and FBI background checks. Interested and able to obtain appropriate knowledge to manage the tasks outlined. Previous experience in a Tiered IT helpdesk position is highly desired.
