The Service technician performs various tasks in the Baton Rouge Service Facility related to Gamma Radiography and other NDT related products and services.
Primary Responsibilities
Upon completion of an in-depth QSA Global, Inc. Training Program:
Service and repair of Gamma RT equipment, consisting of controls, guide tubes, exposure devices etc.Handling Radioactive sources and loading gamma radiography sources into devicesShipping and receiving radioactive and non-radioactive productsLeak test analysisCalibration of instruments when neededAssist in the source/recycling/disposal operationsRepair and maintenance of x-ray devicesQualificationsComputer literateAbility to lift 75 lbs.Able to pass extensive background test to hand RAMStrong Mechanical aptitude with ability to assemble small intricate mechanical componentsPerform tasks in a safe manner and according to ALARA guidelinesMinimum of High School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 1 Year experience requiredBasic knowledge of Radioactive materials, NDT or strong mechanical aptitudeAdditional InformationAt QSA Global, Inc. and our parent company ITW, we are deeply committed to the professional growth and career advancement of our employees.
