How you will help us create value together:
As aTechnical Service Maintenance Intern, you will be responsible for a range of support activities for the Maintenance Department. Our maintenance team provides immediate breakdown support as well as preventative maintenance to all the critical production facilities at the south harbor manufacturing facility.
This position will be based onsite at our South Harbor location in Milwaukee’s Harbor District. The target start date for this role is Summer 2025 and has potential to be extended into the Fall 2025 school semester. We offer full-time hours during the summer and flexible part-time hours during the academic year.
Key Job Responsibilities
+ Create electronic PM template, process and data fields for Maintenance team to utilize on laptops to build out a summary report
+ Create a Fast crib link for maintenance to access for parts availability on laptops
+ Support/drive Fastenal parts ordering and receipt status
+ Create work instruction to redevelop our part program to include VLM storage and restocking processes
+ Update/maintain documentation/employee information for the Maintenance department
+ Update/maintain work order instructions/ information for supervisors
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
+ Pursuing a degree in business or manufacturing engineering or similar, from an accredited school, college, or university.
+ Sophomore, Junior, Senior level student in good academic standing
+ Ability to work independently as well as part of a team towards a goal
+ Excellent organization and personal time management skills, ability to handle multiple tasks
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Experience with data analysis and statistics
+ Possess effective problem solving and critical thinking skills; ability to be creative and resourceful when needed
+ Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Safety conscience individual
+ Inventory tracking experience and knowledge..
+ Experience or knowledge of maintenance programs
+ Ability to multitask and determine priorities for completing tasks in a face-paced environment.
+ Basic knowledge and understanding of manufacturing equipment and processes.
