Technical Service Representative

Job Description

The Technical Service Representative (TSR) will play a pivotal role in providing expert product recommendations, troubleshooting product and process issues, addressing product quality concerns, and conducting root cause analysis for both existing and prospective customers. This position requires independent management of pressure-sensitive adhesive projects, encompassing everything from formulated resin to plant production and customer trials. The TSR will be responsible for testing adhesives, analyzing results, scaling up approved adhesives during pilot and production stages, leading customer coating trials, and delivering technical support post-commercialization. Close collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential, along with delivering technical presentations and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental guidelines.

Responsibilities

Communicate project progress effectively to both internal teams and external customers.Contribute to initiatives aimed at business growth.Engage with customers early to develop and clarify technical requirements.Develop comprehensive technical plans that align with customer needs and business objectives.

Qualifications

B.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in the adhesive industry.Proficient in delivering technical presentations to customers.

The ideal candidate we are looking for has their bachelors in chemistry or biochemistry and has a minimum of 5 years of experience in the adhesive industry. As well as expiernece delivering presentations and speaking with colleagues and managers.

Pay and Shift

60K-100K depending on expiernece and qualifications

First Shift 8AM-5PM M-F
