Job Description

Publicis Sapient is a Premier Google partner with differentiated capabilities in both Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Marketing Platform (GMP). This is an exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Solutions Director to support the rapid expansion of this leading and industry acclaimed Google (GCP) practice within North America.

In this role, you will guide and support prospective and current clients to understand the power of Google Cloud, explaining technical features and problem-solving any potential roadblocks. A major focus of your role will be evangelising and educating current delivery teams on “Why Google Cloud and How?”.

You’ll bring your technical architecting skills and Google relationships to develop impactful solutions for our clients and prospects. Working with the Google partner, business development leadership and with the heads of our international business you will crystalize business outcome-based propositions into technical reality. You will also collaborate with the product marketing, management and engineering teams to stay on top of industry trends and devise enhancements to the solutions that Publicis Sapient has created with Google Cloud.

Your Impact

Work with the Practice Team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify technical objections and develop the strategy to resolve blockers.Develop and manage a NA strategy for sales growth and project manage responses to all commercial enquiries, RFPs, RFIs and help position PS as the Google practice of choice in the region.Extend and deepen the technical relationship with Googlers we work with, including managing product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of additional technical resources.Work hands-on with project teams and prospective clients to demonstrate and prototype Google Cloud product integrations in customer/partner environments.Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution using best practices on Google Cloud.Alliances and business development support.Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required.

 

Qualifications

The Individual

Enthusiasm for and experience of solutioning and advocating Google Cloud Platform products and services into top tier clients. This is likely to have been gained in a pre-sales consulting, solution architect or solution engineering capacity where you have supported innovation and go to market strategies for a Google Cloud/GCP solutions provider.Google Cloud Platform presales experience gained collaborating with executive solutioning or technical SME teams.Google Cloud Platform partnership/alliance management experience alongside presales and solutioning experience is desirable.Strong stakeholder management skills and experience to drive Google Cloud Platform adoption through collaboration with and influencing of senior stakeholders internally and externally. Experience in giving presentations confidently and delivering clear technical pitches to both technical and business audiences up to the C-Level is required.Strong consulting skills are required to communicate the benefits of Google Cloud Platform as an enabler of digital business transformation to all relevant stakeholders.Experience of and willingness to own commercial targets and sales strategies regarding the adoption of Google Cloud Platform solutions.A strong Google Cloud Platform industry network built upon your industry thought leadership and track record for innovation and delivery is required to help promote PS’ capabilities to the wider industry and drive further collaboration opportunities.Knowledge and experience in Data Analytics, AI/ML and/or PaaS, IaaS technologies, Apigee and/or Looker relating to the Google Cloud Platform is desirable.Certifications in Google Cloud Platform (Data or Infrastructure) and Apigee is desirable.Experience of Google Marketing Products such as Google Ads is desirable.Experience selling into the following industry verticals is desirable: Consumer Products, Retail, Financial Services, Travel & Hospitality, Energy & Commodities, Public Sector, Health, Technology, Media & Telecommunications and Transportation & Mobility.

 

Additional Information

Pay Range: $150,000 - $252,000

The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
