As a Technical Solutions Architect Senior, you will be responsible for: + Leading technical discovery and solution design for enterprise customers across cloud computing, edge technologies, and streaming platforms. + Designing and demonstrating proof-of-concept implementations using Akamai's technology stack. + Driving customer adoption through technical workshops, hackathons, and enablement sessions. + Creating technical content including blogs, documentation, and reference architectures. + Influencing the product roadmap by advocating for the customer needs and market trends. + Providing technical leadership in specialized domains such as edge computing, distributed systems, or media streaming. + Collaborating with qualified compute partners (QCPs) to deliver integrated solutions. + Developing and presenting at technical conferences and customer events. **Do what you love** To be successful in this role you will: + 5yrs experience and a Bachelors degree in computer science, MIS, engineering, or its equivalent. + Demonstrate expertise in cloud computing platforms and architectures. + Have a background in distributed systems and edge computing. + Demonstrate experience with modern development practices and tools (Kubernetes/container orchestration, edge computing/CDN technologies, streaming media, distributed databases/systems). **Work in a way that works for you** FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world. The base salary for this position ranges from $91,600 - $190,400/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
