As a Technical Solutions Engineer, you will be a member of the USG go to market team working directly with customers customizations and collaborating internally with Business Development, Sales, Product and our Technology teams. You will design and develop demonstratable proofs-of-technology concepts and ensure successful technical integration and adoption of solutions with customers to impact their critical missions.
You will work with a wide variety of customers and use cases, influencing opportunities with our teams to develop innovative and effective solutions. In this role, you will be relied upon to exercise creativity, make pragmatic technology choices, and implement practical approaches. An ideal candidate possesses strategic and analytic aptitude, software development expertise, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deploy technology solutions as proofs-of-concept
Test, troubleshoot, and enhance customer software applications with and on behalf of customers
Develop and present innovative, scalable, and cost-effective solutions to meet customer needs
Continually assess product quality, release readiness, and maintain existing Maxar solutions
Create detailed solution architecture documentation and present it to stakeholders
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and government regulations
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are preferred but not required
5+ years of Proven experience in a relevant technology domain
Understanding of U.S. Government infrastructure and security requirements.
Strong understanding of technical concepts related to managing cloud-based data and machine learning (ML) pipelines (e.g., AWS)
Experience with DevOps tools and automation platforms like Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies
Significant software development experience with Python, JavaScript, or similar
Government security clearance (or the ability to obtain one
Must be a U.S. Citizen

Experience with developing product demonstrations and proofs of concept to showcase the capabilities and benefits of solutions to potential customers
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working with US Government customers, including those in technical and leadership positions
Strong experience with large geospatial datasets, storage, access patterns and formats
Creative problem solver and a team player
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with remote and/or geographically distributed teams
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Experience working in Agile delivery environments, using frameworks like Scrum and Kanban
TS/SCI Clearance

The range for this position is:
