We are seeking a Technical Specialist 2 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business Unit. As part of (SES) Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, it systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.

What you’ll do:

We are looking for an experienced Technical Specialist to help drive automation of access control groups, processes and policies of all security systems and help pioneer the development of the program. In this position, you will interface with team members and the client regularly, develop and present reports, identify process gaps and improve the overall system management. The selected candidate will develop the physical access control service line to help manage the ever-growing security systems.

The selected candidate will be responsible for establishing and instituting access control best practices for managing enterprise access. Build efficiencies and automate processes with auditing abilities. Identify process gaps and areas of improvement that have an impact across the program The selected candidate will create and update documentation, playbooks and workflows as necessary when information is incorrect or obsolete.  The selected candidate will create detailed project plans that includes schedules, scope, deliverables, timeline and key milestones. The candidate will lead projects and use project management methodologies and tools. The selected candidate will help build automation into access control list management, clearance management and group access management The selected candidate will report weekly, monthly and quarterly project statuses and performance to key stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

Education / Experience: High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of experience with installation, troubleshooting and/or testing of electronic security systems or Associates with 6+ years of experience.

Preferred Experience: 

Demonstrate significant technical experience and/or Bachelor's Degree (Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or other similar programs) Experience and skills project management Possess excellent organizational and file management skills and the ability to plan and execute administrative work with little supervision Support and author playbooks, white papers for information sharing and collaboration Strong oral, written and presentation skills. Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives. CCure Installer/Maintainer Certification 

Desired Qualifications:

      Experience with Google suite platform       Experience with Physical Security Systems such as Access Control (CCURE), Video Management, and Intrusion Detection       Strong understanding in scripting, coding and formulas.       Proficient in automating processes and conducting gap analysis to further identify areas of improvement       Excellent communication skills verbally, through email and chat groups       Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate work logs       Familiarity with access control list, groups, space owner processes and clearances

Pay Range: $86,550 - 115,400
