Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Specialist(Power BI developer) for the Global Competency Services(GCS). The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and maintain BI solutions that convert business data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate should be proficient in using Power BI Desktop, have a strong understanding of data analysis, and be passionate about transforming raw data into meaningful business insights
 

Job Responsibilities Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver custom solutions to meet their needs that align with business objectives and comply with best practices. Design and develop data models that support reporting and analytics requirements. Create visually appealing and insightful reports & dashboards using Power BI. Integrate data from various sources, ensuring data consistency and accuracy. Use DAX to transform and manipulate data within Power BI. Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance and usability. Capable of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing BI solutions, including troubleshooting and performance tuning. Analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals. Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders. Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices to continuously improve BI solutions Background & Skills Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering or a related field. 3-6 years of experience in Data analytics. Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role Strong project management skills with experience in Agile, Scrum or Six Sigma methodologies. Strong knowledge of Power BI, DAX, and data modeling. Disciplined approach to work and “Lead by Example”. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Analytical and problem-solving skills for complex data-driven decision-making. Stakeholder management abilities to drive cross-functional collaboration. Innovative thinking and adaptability to emerging technologies. Hands-on Experience in Power Apps/Automate will be an added advantage. Danfoss – Engineering Tomorrow
