Tetra Tech International Development is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for technical specialist positions on an anticipated five-year USAID-funded Disaster Resilience Activity in Armenia.
Position Description/Summary:
The Activity aims to develop national capacity to mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from natural and human-caused disasters. The technical specialists will report to a Senior Leadership Team and provide technical leadership and activity oversight across several areas of anticipated focus for the project. This position will be based in Yerevan, Armenia.
Responsibilities: Technical Specialists will provide technical leadership and activity oversight, as well as support to grant implementation, if applicable, and monitoring and evaluation across several areas of anticipated focus for the project. Tetra Tech seeks candidates with the following expertise:
* Policy and enabling environment
* Institutional Capacity Strengthening
* Private Sector Engagement
* GIS, analytics, data visualization
* Disaster risk modeling
* Gender, Youth, and Social Inclusion (GYSI)
* Climate Finance
*Community Engagement
* Social Behavior Change
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in related field, Master’s Degree highly preferred.
* At least seven (7) years of technical experience in related field.
* A demonstrated track record of progressively responsible experience providing leadership to donor projects with similar complexity.
* Proven leadership, organizational and writing skills.
* Professional Fluency in Armenian and proficiency in English required.
