What if you could support the claims teams achieve positive and sustainable work capacity outcomes?

The Technical Specialist (Work Capacity) is a collaborative role which focusses on development, enhancement and delivering strategic work capacity initiatives across both Nominal Insurer and Treasury Managed Fund business units.

 

About the role

Work across two businesses, develop work capacity initiatives with a key focus on customer value proposition, technical excellence, and operating models. Oversee, update, and create policy, procedure, and process documents to improve work capacity practices. Develop and implement changes for improvement following audits and compliance actions Facilitate projects and initiatives to support achieving sustainable work capacity outcomes. Coach and develop Technical Specialists and Case Manager in work capacity practises to enable capability uplift and successful claim outcomes.

 

About you

Extensive Workers Compensation experience and knowledge of relevant legislation Strong understanding of work capacity requirements, with a motivation to be creative and trial new initiatives Effective planning, prioritising, and organising skills In depth understanding of strategy development and an ability to partner with different business units to influence outcomes Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyse complex information and data
