Job Description Technical Superintendent – Towage Vessels

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Technical Superintendent to join a well-established maritime organization based in Wales.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the efficient technical management and maintenance of towage vessels. Oversee compliance with statutory regulations, class requirements, and company standards. Plan, execute, and monitor scheduled maintenance, repairs, and dry-dockings. Manage budgets and provide technical support to vessel crews. Conduct inspections and audits to ensure optimal performance and safety. Key Requirements:
Proven shoreside experience as a Technical Superintendent or similar role within the maritime industry is preferred. Previous sailing experience as a Chief Engineer on towage vessels is preferred. Strong knowledge of vessel maintenance, repair processes, and technical systems. Valid engineering qualifications and certifications relevant to the role. Location: Wales (flexibility for occasional travel may be required).
