Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Steel – Arkansas is seeking applicants for the position of Technical Supervisor. The role of the Technical Supervisor includes, but is not limited to:

Establishing a culture of safety awareness, team development, quality production, and continuous improvement. Leading sales technical services including direct technical contact with OEMs. Leading communication of customer issues to the production, maintenance, and sales teams. Managing our Claims process for the entire division Leading defect analysis and root cause analysis of field defects. Leading process improvements for the entire division. Ensuring the prompt release of production holds. Coaching, mentoring, and developing Process and Technical Sales Metallurgists.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications: B.S. Degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or equivalent engineering degree. Minimum of 3 years of industrial experience Preferred Qualifications: Hot and Cold side flat roll steel experience. Proven track record of customer service and problem-solving.
