Technical Suport Technician

Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience in physical work environments (warehousing, supply chain, retail, etc.)
+ Networking and hardware troubleshooting experience
+ Hands-on experience with physical infrastructure installations, including hardware integration, racking, and cabling
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Provide support to end users on various issues
+ Identify, research, and resolve technical problems
+ Respond to technical support requests via phone, email, and in-person
+ Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution
Qualifications:
+ Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
+ Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines
+ Work under immediate supervision
+ Primary job functions do not typically require independent judgment
+ Typically reports to a supervisor or manager

+ Support the team in meeting the required number of rack hand-offs
Interaction with Team:
+ Collaborative work environment
+ Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines

Typical Task Breakdown:
+ Provide support to end users on various issues
+ Identify, research, and resolve technical problems
+ Respond to technical support requests via phone, email, and in-person
+ Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution
+ Physical position requiring standing, moving items, lifting up to 40 lbs, and fixing issues as needed
Day-to-Day Activities:
+ Similar to data center roles and responsibilities
+ Work in varying temperature areas (hot and cold aisles)
Degrees/Certifications and Experience Required:
+ Associate's degree in a related area and 0-3 years of experience in the field or a related area
+ Help desk experience is not transferable for this position
+ Experience in physical work environments (warehousing, supply chain, retail, etc.)
+ Networking experience
+ Hands-on experience with physical infrastructure installations, including hardware integration, racking, and cabling
+ Hardware troubleshooting experience
+ Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00/hr.
