 IT Support Specialist

Location: Piedmont, SC 

Overview:

3Ci is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our Client's team. This role will serve as the IT face of the business, providing critical hardware and software support on the plant floor and ensuring smooth IT operations within a global automotive manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary point of contact for IT support, providing exceptional customer service. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, with a focus on plant floor operations. Support Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and perform basic network troubleshooting. Manage mobile device support and assist with IT-related tasks across the facility.

Requirements:

Experience: Basic troubleshooting skills, tier 2 support experience, and a background in manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environments. Skills: Strong customer service skills, urgency in problem resolution, and effective escalation abilities. Technical Knowledge: Experience with hardware and software support is essential.

Nice to Have:

AutoCAD experience. Automotive manufacturing experience. Basic SQL or programming knowledge.

Vision of Success:

30 Days: Acclimate to the role and understand the primary IT systems and processes. 90 Days: Fully operational in providing IT support and managing day-to-day tasks effectively. 1 Year: Demonstrate solid performance, contributing significantly to IT operations and support within the facility.

Work Schedule:

Onsite 5 days per week (Monday-Friday, 7 PM - 4 AM EST). Night shift with 8-10 hour workdays depending on workload.
