Technical Support Associate needed to fill a new position for a well-respected client located in Omaha, Nebraska. Apply today to take advantage of this unique and exciting opportunity! WHAT IS GREAT ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY?DIRECT HIRE Hybrid schedule – three days onsite, two days remote $50000 – $60000 per year with some flexibility based on skills and experienceOne of the United States’ largest wholesale distributors DO YOU ALIGN WITH THESE KEY QUALIFICATIONS?The Technical Support Associate will provide technical assistance to both internal employees as well as Client’s customers in troubleshooting and resolving computer-related issuesBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related disciplines preferredAt least three years of experience in customer technical support highly preferredSystem or network administration, VMware, telecommunications knowledgeAbility to explain technical issues to technical and nontechnical internal employees and Client’s customers WHAT WILL YOUR SUCCESS LOOK LIKE? As a Technical Support Associate, you will be proficient in setting up and repairing computer hardware and other associated devices in the office setting.  You will also assist internal employees as well as the Client’s external customers with troubleshooting computer and systems issues.   WHAT WILL YOU DO?   Fields support calls, chat, email, and/or other communication from users with inquiries regarding software programming, connectivity, printing, and similar concernsGuides users through diagnostic and troubleshooting processes, which may include use of diagnostic tools and software and/or following verbal instructionsAssists users with installation of software and troubleshooting of related problems; refers more complicated issues to appropriate staffSetting up or repairing computer hardware and other associated devices such as printers and scanners; arranges some repairs with third party vendorsTroubleshooting system failures and identifying roadblocks in the network.
