We are currently seeking a qualified mechanical engineer to identify problems, plan and execute a solution for issues on existing medical air and vacuum systems.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support product line with records of reoccurring issues Assist customer over the phone to determine the origin of an issue Create RGA documents for service calls Provide guidance in claims on warranty Provide quotations to customers for out of warranty service calls Create Service documentations for product Work closely with Engineering and Installation/Service Team to schedule and resolve issues at customer site. Track service calls to ensure timely resolution Generate RGA reports alongside quality control manager Provide feedback to engineering for product improvement
Job Requirements:
Sound engineering skills Ability to think abstractly and solve problems creatively Attention to detail Willing to learn new product design Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Team leadership when completing projects Fluent English is a must Ability to travel to sites within Canada if needed
Required Qualifications: Post-Secondary Education in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Mechanical, Electrical or Technician Engineering experience in a related position Working knowledge of electronics and electrical measurement equipment. i.e. Multimeter, etc a must
